Social media is a brainchild of software engineers who used computer technology and the internet to create virtual networks on which people from all over the world can interact and share their thoughts, opinions, ideas, information, and emotions as well.
Why
Well, there is no specific answer for why social media is created. We all have heard the saying “need is the mother of all inventions”. But this saying became irrelevant in the 21st century as we have many things around us today which we don’t need for survival but they were invented just to aid our comfort and make
our lives easier. But social media emerged neither as a need nor as a luxury but it evolves with other technologies of fast and efficient communication. So eventually engineers were trying to figure out faster ways of communication through the internet and we ended up with this whole virtual world what we call social media.
When
Now the question arises that does everyone living on this planet needs or have to use social media and if you think to stay relevant, aware, updated, or to keep up the pace with the world one should use it. Then it’s fine, but one question can still be asked that when will be the right time for one to join the world on social media. Well, from today’s perspective the answer is quite simple when you become mature enough to handle the nuances and the psychological effects of social media.
Agreed with whole of its jist, but may be at some point it was necessary for people to connect remotely to gain a stronger communication as said already. Actually to bring people closer to each other..but eventually the opposite is happening... 👍 Nice overview though...
